Triathlon training this autumn

We have received the notice below offering young members the chance to take part in some triathlon training this autumn. We suspect it will not offer our members much extra in cycling skills, but if you wish to develop your swimming or running, or the transitional techniques of triathlon then it is certainly a great opportunity.

Ages 8 -16 years – No Experience Needed!

Learn about swimming, cycling, running, transition, nutrition, flexibility and bike mechanics with the Mid Sussex Triathlon Club.

The junior training is an introduction to and development of triathlon skills for 8 -16 year olds and is endorsed by the British Triathlon Federation. The training is held in accordance with the BTF’s Child Protection Policy.

The training is aimed at young people with a basic level of fitness but it is not necessary to have taken part in any of the three triathlon disciplines competitively as the aim of TriHub is to learn and have fun! The cycling will be on a tarmac/off road course within the college grounds and will be traffic free.

Train, develop skills and have FUN! with our qualified coaches.

£50 per young person, £80 for two or £100 for three.

We meet at Great Walstead School, East Mascalls Lane, Lindfield
