Puncheur Sportive Sunday 5th March

On Sunday the 5th March I will be running the feed station on the Puncheur Sportive instead of the normal Sunday ride. As in previous years we have a few rider places reserved for PPYCC

If any of the stronger riders, coaches or parents would like to ride the Sportive then please contact the organiser Morgan Lewis directly at morganrlewis@ntlworld.com ( Cc me at charlie@ppycc.org.uk) for discounted entry of £10. Youth riders will require parental consent. Closing date Friday 17th February

A 65 mile sportive in the winter is a hard ride and should not be undertaken lightly. Get in touch with any questions.

Club Road Ride Sunday 22nd January

Club road rides continue on Sunday 22nd January for riders 12 and older (with parental permission)  Parents are encouraged to come along

The route will be decided on the day and be tailored for all abilities.

Meet at the track ready to leave at 10.00am for a two hour ride though note that we commonly return at 12.30 or after. There will be no charge  but the nature of these rides is that a higher level of self-sufficiency is required. This means riders should be capable of safe return if they become separated from the group and that suitable clothing and equipment are used. Thus there should be no new participants without prior agreement. Similarly these are club rides and not coaching sessions, so will aim to be more continuous ride, with limited stopping.

Please ensure your bikes are road worthy this includes using tyres that are not worn or suffering cuts and nicks. COME FULLY CLOTHED FOR THE COLDER WEATHER or you will not be welcome to ride. Bad weather cancellations will be posted on the website by 9am
