Help required for the PPYCC cross races

A long message, please persevere

Our biggest race event of the year, in organisational terms, is our cycle-cross race and this year we again have two! Our club has faced a tenfold increase in its ongoing costs of track hire and our cross races give us the potential to cover all our track hire fees for the coming season but, we can only run them with a strong support from our members and their families.

The first race take place on Sunday 1st October at Happy Valley in Woodingdean and the second Sunday 29th October  at a new venue we have yet to find [please let us know if you have any ideas]. They are part of the London League Cyclo-Cross series and includes races for adults and youths and beginners.

The day of racing is quite a commitment and we request that our members from Outer Ring either enter the race, help with the organisation or cheer on the participants at the very least. It is possible to do all three.

Parents, members and others who can help are asked to indicate their availability [and job role if there is a preference] by contacting anthony@ppycc.org.uk and identifying which slot/s they are available from the table below. Those that I remember have offered their help already are indicated in the table at the foot of this message.
