Cycle-cross review and thanks

We have come to the end of our summer season at Preston Park YCC and we finished with Halloween shenanigans and the first ever cyclo-cross race at Preston Park. Thanks must go to the many volunteers who helped on the day of our cross race. More than 50 people made a contribution to the day’s success. Of these around 40 were associated with our club and the others from the London Cycle-Cross Association.

Though there are so many to thank we would like to mention one volunteer, Lili Kovacs who, with her father Rob, marshalled all day at both the races we ran this season.

For the first time at one of our events we were supported, in addition to our normal catering by Charlie Booth and Infinity Foods, by Coops Coffee and The French Revolution galettes and crepes both offering top quality fare.

For those interested in the racing there is a great report of each race, with a few photos of the activity in the park.
