We are pleased to share news from Izzy Stone who raced successfully for PPYCC the past two years and has moved up to the next level of racing as a Junior.
“Just thought I’d give you an update with my racing.
Yesterday I did my first junior crit race in Belgium In The junior girls race. I was really nervous to start off with but was excited and I was looking forward as to what was to come! It was a great experience and great to learn how to race well in a big bunch! My main aim for my first race was just to stay in the bunch and no be caught up in anything and not let any gaps open up. I was pleased with my effort and came 31st out of about 60. I hope to race again there many times this year as there is a long season ahead of me!
