PPYCC riders have been busy at the start of the season’s competitive calendar, and last Saturday saw the biggest PPYCC turnout so far this year, at the March Hare Classic, held at Lee Valley Road Circuit. Well done and thank you to all our riders for their excellent representation of the club!

U14’s, Rahul Fortescue Talwar, Josh Ballinger, Dylan Hicks, Freddie Newman, pre-race! Well done Josh for his good performance in his 1st ever regional road race!
Freddie and Rahul were part of a 3 man breakaway, with VCL rider, Innes Harvey, and maintained a half lap lead for most of the race
In the final sprint to the finish line, Rahul came 1st and Freddie 3rd! Josh was placed 14th, unfortunately Dylan did not finish following a crash during the race, he is alright and PPYCC wish him a speedy recovery from cuts and bruises.
Finn Anderson-Grout, Tom Pughe-Morgan and Adam Churchill, cooling down after a hard and fast U16 race. Tom was placed 8th, Adam 15th and Finn 17th.
