PPYCC receive a much appreciated letter from member Josh Fanner

At the end of September I moved to the University of Essex, in Colchester, and I just wanted to write to you all to thank you for all the support I have received from every member of the committee and the coaching team at PPYCC. I have always been amazed at the sheer dedication that everyone has put into the club, especially when the going got tough after the BC announcement of the closing of the track.

Without the encouragement and support that I have received from everyone there is a relatively high chance that I would never have applied for the National Youth Forum which I was on for several years and would consequently not have had half of the experiences that I have since had, an example being the Sainsbury School Games. At the National Young Officials Camp that I attended, another thing that I would not have been able to do without the support of everyone at the club, we were asked to put down one of our biggest inspirations and I chose the PPYCC team because they epitomise to me what we should all aspire to with this dedication, support and enthusiasm.

I get out on my bike in Essex fairly regularly and I am a proud wearer of my PPYCC kit. I am also a member of the PPYCC strava group. I am doing a dual honours of European Studies and German. I am back home on the 9th of December so if there are any rides between then and when I go back in January I may attend them.
