Several of PPYCC’s experienced riders have been competing in a wealth of well recognised, challenging and exciting races across the country recently, well done to everyone who has taken part in their competitions, and thank you all for continuing to represent PPYCC with such style and sportsmanship!
06.07.2016-Guildford Town Centre Race-a prestigious, annual race, fast and furious on a tight and challenging closed road circuit. Adam Churchill gained a very excellent 3rd place in the U14 boys race! Well done to Lloyd Costello, Rahul Fortescue Talwar, Freddie Newman, Tom Pughe Morgan and Luca Stone who also raced with Adam in the U14’s. Results are still to be confirmed for 4th position onwards.
10.07.2016-National Youth Circuit Championships-the U14’s boys race saw 76 riders compete in a gruelling 1 hour race at Hog Hill, Lukas Nerurkar-33rd, Lloyd Costello-55th.
15.07.2016-Final round of Spring in the Park Series, Cyclopark-Tom, Lloyd, Luca, Jojo, Rahul and Adam have all competed in one or more of the rounds of this series, WELL DONE to Tom Pughe-Morgan who came 2nd overall in the series.
16.07.2016-GHS regional TT heats-10 mile Time Trial run on open roads in Sussex. Josh Ballinger, Adam Churchill, Finn Anderson, Lukas Nerurkar and Jojo Martin all rode, a very big well done to Jojo Martin who won a place in the 14yrs national final, Adam Churchill who won a place in the 13yrs national final and Lukas Nerurkar who won a place in the 12yrs national final.
17.07.2016-National Youth Circuit Series, round 6, Hillingdon. A fast and demanding race for the U12’s and U14’s boys, with Josh Golliker placed 17th in the U12 boys race, Rahul Fortescue Talwar-20th and Freddie Newman-47th both in the U14 boys race.
