A quick reminder that the Sussex Cycle Racing League AGM & Prize Presentation will be taking place on Saturday 15 October from 7.00pm in the Knoyle Hall, Knoyle Road, Brighton.
(Please note this is a change of venue from the past few years, although it remains very close to the track)
This is our chance to applaud all our riders and to thank the people who work hard to make the League such a success. It is also an opportunity for you to have your say on how the league is run and debate changes you might like to see next year. If you have any issues that you would like the AGM to discuss, please send them in via our website www.scrl.co.uk by Wednesday 12 October. New nominations for committee members are also welcome, either by email in advance or during the AGM itself. Details of the roles and the 2010 committee can be found at www.scrl.co.uk/html/committee.html
The top six riders in both senior leagues will receive prizes. A series of special trophies will be awarded and medals from the three League championship evenings will be handed out. In addition, every rider in each age-group of the youth leagues who attended at least eight meets will be given a prize.
No prizes (cash, trophies, plaques or medals) will be sent on to riders. Prize-winners who cannot attend should please make arrangements for someone else to collect them on their behalf.
We very much look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday 15 October. The AGM will begin at 7.00pm, then after a refreshment break the prize presentation will take place, ending no later than 9.00pm.
ps. If anyone is able to help out serving the refreshments on the night, please let me know by mailing firstname.lastname@example.org
