A historic and family-friendly venue
The event takes place entirely within the safe, enclosed grounds of Preston Park Velodrome, with excellent viewing for parents and supporters.
Built in 1877, Preston Park Velodrome is the oldest working velodrome in the world. The centre field and cricket oval host the run course, while the bike legs are ridden on a combination of the smooth cycling track and grass field.
With 63 acres of surrounding parkland, a large playground, gardens and cafes, there’s something for the whole family. Why not bring a picnic or make a day of it and explore Brighton afterwards?
