British Cycling SE Region Road and Track Cluster Sessions

Please see below update from Luke Anderson our British Cycling regional development manager.

Riders and Coaches,

Thanks for taking part in our Track and Road clusters this winter.

All the winter clusters are finishing up this week or next, after that we pause for summer when I hope most of you will be out racing and riding in the warm sunshine (it’s on the way I promise!) Instead of the Sunday morning track clusters the Go-Ride coaches help support and coach at Lee Valley running the Track After School Club on Mondays – suitable for newer and younger riders, and the Race Ready Youth Track session on Thursdays, suitable for racing level riders: https://www.visitleevalley.org.uk/en/content/cms/london2012/velo-park/youth-activities/

They will also run track cluster sessions during the school holidays at both Lee Valley and Herne Hill Velodrome. These sessions will run every school holiday until the Sunday morning Lee Valley track clusters restart in September:

Russell will be running the Lee Valley holiday clusters – Road on April 4th and Track on April 11th. Book here: https://www.visitleevalley.org.uk/en/content/cms/london2012/velo-park/youth-activities/#schoolholiday. To ride the track session you will need a Lee Valley membership account that has you logged at stage 2 accreditation or above. We don’t generally let Lee Valley know riders have passed accreditation stages until they’re completed all 4, so if you’re part way though, make sure you’ve created a free Lee Valley account (https://www.visitleevalley.org.uk/en/content/cms/london2012/velo-park/lee-valley-velopark-membership/), then email me with your Lee Valley membership number so I can ask for your records to be updated.

Dave will be running the Herne Hill advanced holiday sessions on 5th and 12th April. No accreditation required, just make sure riders are youth B and above and at a racing level. Book here: http://www.hernehillvelodrome.com/holidayclub/

There will also be future holiday clusters at Redbridge and Cyclopark – follow our various regional social media accounts for updates:

Hope to see you at a session soon!!
