The PPYCC Saturday season is drawing to a close, and we have some exciting updates for your calendar:
Saturday 8th October: There will be a cyclocross/mountain bike session at Happy Valley http://www.bhdfl.co.uk/pages/groundmaps.html?groundchoice=6 for both Inner and Outer Ring groups from 9.00-10.30am. This session is for everyone to join and enjoy, and will also allow riders who are racing in the PPYCC regional Cyclocross race the following day a chance to practice their skills at the race venue ahead of the day! Please meet in the car park at 8.45am. There will be no session at the track this week.
Sunday 9th October: PPYCC’s 1st round of the London X League, all PPYCC members are welcome to enter and race on the day! http://www.londonxleague.co.uk/2016/08/round-4-sun-9th-oct/
Saturday 15th October: PPYCC returns to Preston Park Velodrome for the last time this year. Inner Ring session: The final Go Ride racing of the season for all riders! Sign on at 8.40, racing starts at 9.00am. Outer Ring session: Road bike session, sign on at 10.15 for a prompt 10.30 start. This year’s Pedal in Preston Park, the fundraising event for the MNDA and the Martletts, follows the Outer Ring session this week, with a club only hour on the track from 12-1pm, after which the track is open for all riders to support the charities. Saturday 22nd October: As previously advertised….the PPYCC Club Championships at the Cyclopark!! The Championships will be the club’s finale for the season! Details:ppycc-circuit-championships-2016 See you all there! There will be no session at the track this week.
Saturday 29th October: The final Saturday session of the season will again be held at Happy Valley prior to the 2nd PPYCC regional cyclocross race, we are hosting the 6th round of the season, so another chance for some more practice ahead of the racing! Please meet in the car park at 8.45am for a 9.00-10.30 joint session for both Inner and Outer Ring riders. There will be no session at the track this week.

Following a great summer at the track, all the excitement, fun, riding and racing of the season will be remembered and celebrated at the PPYCC AGM and Prize Giving on Saturday 26th November. Save the date!! more details to follow soon!
