Last weekend, on a grey, and ultimately wet, Sunday, 11 PPYCC riders travelled to Porstmouth’s Mountbatten Centre for the first regional omnium of the season.
There was some tremendous racing, although unfortunately rain called off the competiton after 3, out of a total of 5, events.
PPYCC are very proud to be have been represented by Alfie Bunyan and Seb Boulton in the U12’s, Dylan Hicks, Josh Golliker and Luke Goodwill in the U14’s (and not forgetting Louis Boulton, Seb’s brother, riding for VCJubilee, too!), and Tom Pughe Morgan, Adam Churchill, Freddie Newman, Lukas Nerurkar, Josh Ballinger and Rahul Fortescue Talwar in the U16’s.
Congratulations to Dylan (2nd) and Josh (3rd) in the U14’s and Tom (2nd) in the U16’s for their podium places. All the riders rode very well, against some difficult competition, and showed determination and motivation in their riding, and support and empathy to their team mates and other riders. Well done everyone!
