Work has finally begun on the perimeter fence at Preston Park Velodrome, and I have also just had confirmation that the unsafe structure of the Grandstand is being demolished and re-built.
PPYCC’s season traditionally begins on the first Saturday of March, and we had hoped to begin the season at the track. However, the latest news is that this is now unlikely, and we are looking for alternative accommodation for the first few weeks of our season.
Please keep the 5th March in your diaries, as we hope to be running sessions from this date, but updates will be posted as soon as any further information becomes available. The date may change, and the location will be somewhere in Brighton other than Preston Park for the initial sessions!
