No sooner have we welcomed in the New Year that the early season circuit races are about to get underway.
For those interested here’s what’s coming up:
Hillingdon Winter Series u8s through to u16s. Every Saturday for 5 weeks commencing tomorrow, 6th January. Entry on the day.
Lee Valley Youth CC Winter Series at Redbridge circuit – monthly Saturday mornings , U12s – u16s through to March, next race 20th January, followed by 24th February, entries already open online at BC.
Essex Go Ride Race Series run roughly monthly at the Redbridge circuit – aimed at riders new to racing u8s – u14s. First race Sunday 7th January. Entry online at BC
More races are being opened on British Cycling for entry each week. The popular March Hare Classic at Lee Valley road circuit 23rd March is now open for entries, Archer Spring Classic at Hillingdon 7th April and following in from that the Primavera series at Lee Valley.
Many of the Regional Youth Omniums are already open for entry including our own in Group 6. There are also plans for Sunday morning races at Preston Park for u14/16s commencing in February, keep an eye out on the SCRL website.
