Brighton & Hove Youth Circuit Series

The Brighton & Hove Youth Circuit Series is a new initiative promoting youth racing at two iconic local venues: Preston Park and Hove Park. Organised collaboratively by local clubs to provide a fun, skills-focused, and competitive environment for young riders aged 8 to 16. This series is an excellent opportunity to progress your racing skills, challenge your clubmates, and experience the thrill of closed-circuit bike racing.

The series is composed of selected youth races from the established Friday night events run by Sussex Cycle Racing League (SCRL) at Preston Park and the Hove Park Crits run by Brighton Mitre CC (BMCC). While PPYCC is not the race organiser for these events, we are helping promote the series to regional clubs and riders, providing volunteers on race day and helping collate series results.

PPYCC are hugely appreciative of the SCRL and BMCC race organisers who are putting significant efforts into providing racing opportunities for young riders. We strongly encourage riders to enter early in order to demonstrate high demand for youth racing in Brighton & Hove!

For Novice Riders: This series provides a fun, skills-focused, and supportive environment, making it a perfect stepping stone from club training to regional competition. PPYCC offers coach-led sessions at Preston Park every Saturday, which are an ideal way to build confidence and essential skills before entering your first race.
