Dedicated coaching sessions at Lee Valley velodrome for youth and adult riders

Please see the messages below from Luke Anderson [our regional development manager] and Jason Cattermole South East Go Ride Coach about opportunities for all local riders to join coached sessions at  Lee Valley Velodrome.

Dear Go-Ride volunteers,

As many of you know we have been supporting the Regional Track sessions at Lee Valley Velodrome for Adults, as well as providing lots of opportunities for young riders to experience track and progress with Accreditations.

The Senior sessions need a bit of help to fill up, so please could you share in your clubs to try and fill these places up – why not come and have a ride yourself?  The Session this weekend still has places available so please follow the link below for more details.

Kind regards,

Luke Anderson

Hi All,

Just a quick note to say we’re still running our Lee Valley track sessions, with the aim to continue them monthly while we still have the demand. We’ve taken on board rider comments and demand and are theming the rest of our remaining summer sessions. The next session on 21st June is a madison session, and the following session on 18th July is a sprint session. Alongside both sessions we are including a group for “track experience” – a general track skills and drills session for less experienced and non-accredited riders.

So hopefully that means there’s something for everyone. Please keep making the most of monthly weekend access to the most in-demand velodrome in the world. We’ll keep putting these sessions on while we have demand from riders! If you have any particular ideas or requests for the format of the sessions please let me know.
