Help urgently needed for our cycle-cross races

A long message, please persevere

Our biggest race event of the year, in organisational terms, is our cycle-cross race and this year we have two!

The first take place on Sunday 9th October and the second Sunday 30th October both at Happy Valley in Woodingdean. They are part of the London League Cyclo-Cross series and includes races for adults and youths and beginners.

The day of racing is quite a commitment and we request that our members from Outer Ring either enter the race, help with the organisation or cheer on the participants at the very least. It is possible to do all three. The races if well organised are one of the ways that the club generates income; this year this is especially important as we have had a tenfold increase in track hire fees and we hope not to have to substantially raise membership costs for next year.

Parents, members and others who can help are asked to indicate their availability [and job role if there is a preference] by contacting anthony@ppycc.org.uk and identifying which slot/s they are available from the table below. Those that I remember have offered their help already are indicated in the table at the foot of this message.
